Bikini Body Sales???

In preparation for our honeymoon to Puerto Rico in a few weeks, I've done the following:

1.) Ordered new swimsuits

2.) Tanned

3.) Mentally packed our suitcases and started shopping for things we need (a.k.a. Chris needs shorts)

4.) Started to workout to get a bikini ready body...
But that's easier said than done. Anyone know when Macy's, Kohls, or even K-Mart is having a blue light special on six pack abs? I need some! I have had a strong desire to jog, lately. I think it's just a fantasy because I've only gotten up off the couch once to go out jogging... and it ended up as a walk with Chris. It's cold, snowy, and yucky outside... I don't want to run out there. I discovered that On Demand features exercise videos/shows. I made it through 10 minutes of Billy Blanks this morning before I was worn out! I'm really out of shape!!!

So, I am going to make a pledge to myself and the blogspot readers that I will participate in somesort of exercise each day until the honeymoon... we'll see about longer afterwards. So, daily, I'm going to report what I did... not to brag and not because you really care... but because then I am accountabe for exercising and it will make me get up off the couch and do something about my body!

A few weeks ago someone asked me how I got back into shape after having Calvin. I half laughed because I am at least 10 pounds heavier than I was pre-prego and nothing... I mean nothing is where it was before! However, I do realize that I have lost most of the weight (over 30 pounds) and I wear the same size clothes as I did pre-prego... even if I don't look as good in them. I am also aware that I am not obese by any means. But, I can use some cardio and lose a few pounds/inches and tone up some areas.
Anyway, so when this person asked what my secret was, I thought back to the first 2 weeks post baby... I ate nothing but Ranch Potato Chips and Coca Cola Zero. There... that's the secret to success! hehehe... then later, I did a lot of sit-ups and push-ups - push-ups are the key to get your boobs back where they belong! Anyway, I took it as a huge compliment that this person thought I looked so good... since I have serious issues with the shape of my post-baby body. Which brings up another point... how long am I allowed to use Calvin as an excuse for my body and lack of exercise??? ;-)
