Today is my last day at work. I'm a little sad because I've been affiliated with this company since 1999 and they stayed in touch during my Air Force career and were kind enough to offer me a great job when I was prego. The company has given me several opportunities to broaden my horizons. But, there comes a time when you have to let go and stand on your own. I transferred to Parkland for the Spring semester to major in Radiological Technology. I am so super excited! Going back to school fulltime would not be a possibility at this time without the Veteran's Assistance grant and my Montgomery G.I. Bill that not only pay for my school but also send me a hefty check each month. The perks of being a veteran! :-)
